Loan eligibility is based on various factors including your income, credit history, track record on our platform, mobile wallet activities and verified KYC details. Our system may not approve your loan if you have unpaid and overdue loans with other lenders. Trafalgar Associates is a responsible lender.
To sign-up for Kwikpay Loan, you must be at least 18years old, have a BVN, a functioning email address, a valid mobile number, bank account for loan disbursement and bank card for repayment of loan, if approved.
Your BVN is required for us to confirm that you are the one registering for Kwikpay Credit Loan and not someone else. It is important that your register with your correct name, date of birth and phone number, as shown on your BVN.
To know your BVN, dial *565*0# from the phone number you registered your BVN. Please note that your provider may charge N20 for each check.
Please proceed to your Bank to update your BVN profile with the new phone number. You can then return to our platform to complete your loan application.
The BVN profile must match the information provided on our platform. Please confirm that your name and date of birth and phone number match what’s registered on your BVN.
For OTP, it will only be forwarded to the phone number registered with the BVN. You also need to ensure that the phone number do not have DND enabled on it as this could interfere with delivery of your code/OTP. For email verification, please confirm that the correct email address is used on the platform.
Note: The OTP for phone number verification cannot be sent via Whatsapp but to the phone linked to your BVN.

A debit card is required for a Kwikpay loan because it’s used to verify your Bank Account and to debit your account for loan repayments at the due date, if the loan is approved. Kwikpay Credit is a service provided by Trafalgar Associates, which is registered and licensed to provide loan services in the country.
Previously, customers were only required to input the BVN digits before validation can occur. However, due to a mandatory requirement from CBN, a new update has been implemented where customers are now also required to input the last 4 digits of the registered BVN phone number and BVN date of birth in addition to the BVN.

In cases where the customer inputs the wrong date of birth or BVN phone number and error message “BVN Details Do Not Match” is displayed.

The customer can be advised to reach out to their bank to ensure that every detail on their BVN is accurate.

This error message is displayed when a customer with the same BVN already exists on the portal.

Paystack is a third-party integration that is currently used for collections and disbursements.
During an application, a customer is required to tokenize a debit card by linking the card to Paystack via the widget on the application flow. The tokenized card will be part of the verification and used for the repayment of the loan.
Sometimes, during the add card process, a customer can encounter a number of errors due to various reasons.

What does ‘Unknown Error’ mean?
This error is usually due to a temporary downtime from the customer’s bank.
How to resolve this:
The customer can retry the process using another card. Alternatively, the customer can also be advised to retry the transaction at a later time or escalate to their bank if the error persists.
The loan offered to you will depend on various factors including income, repayment history, and transaction track record on our mobile wallet. For our loans, larger amount may be unlocked if previous loans are repaid on or before the due dates.
No collateral for most of our loans! You will need to share your BVN details during application and you need to connect your Bank Card and Bank Account details to authorise us to debit your account for repayment, if the loan is approved.
However, depending on the risk profile of the transaction and for some of our specialized loan products offered by the Trafalgar Associates Group, including Diaspora Loans for Non-Resident-Nigerians, Bridging Loans and our REPIA loans for customers that are committed to improve their overall credit history, collateral and/or guarantors may be required. Our system may have rejected your application because you did not meet our current lending criteria i.e. your income may be insufficient, debt to income ratio exceeded, bad credit report, etc. You can also view the reason why your loan was declined in the email we sent to you. It’s accessible on your dashboard for quick reference whenever you need it.

Yes you can! You can pay as soon as you can afford to repay, it doesn’t matter if the loan is due yet. If you liquidate your loan within 30 days of disbursement, you will be charged the full month’s interest. After 30 days, liquidation requires payment of the remaining principal and accrued interest up to the date of liquidation.

All we need to proceed is your bank statement for the last 3 months. You can proceed to the Mobile app or web dashboard to submit a new statement.

Failure to make your repayment will result in penalties which may include contacting your employer, blacklisting your BVN or sending debt collectors to your home and/or place of work. Additionally, there are fines that will be accrued on the outstanding loan amount. By default, your account will be debited through your Bank card on your due date. However, in a situation where the card could not be used, maybe the account is not funded, the direct debit mandate will kick in to debit your account when the funds are available. That is why you are required to set up your direct debit mandates before the loan can be disbursed to you.
